From the 1930s this sweet buffet has been finished in our Nantucket Marsh and the mahogany top has been refinished. Two doors open to reveal a large storage cabinet. Pretty details such as: Queen Anne legs, a curved and scalloped  front and decorative panels on the doors make this piece truely special.

This vintage mahogany desk has been finished in our Nantucket Marsh and the top has been refinished in a deep espresso. This pieces has very elegant lines, original oval pulls and features eight drawers (the bottom right is a double drawer, so it is extra deep!)  This is a great desk but it could easily be used as a vanity or dressing table, or even as a smaller buffet in a kitchen or dining room.  Many times our customers  will also use these for flat screen TVs.

The lines of this twin bed are so simple, yet so sweet.  We took this vintage 1930s art deco bed and gave it a fresh new finish in our Cottage White. The result  is a clean and classic bed that would work well in your cottage home, guest room or a child’s room.  This twin bed does come with wooden side rails; also  finished in our Cottage White.

Measures: wide 40″   headboard 41″ high and footboard 23″ high.

This is a pretty dresser with a sweet curved top and delicate legs. We painted this chest in our Ocean. Two smaller drawers over two large drawers offer plenty of storage space.

A simple country pine chest that has been finished in our Taupe.  This dresser is a great deal at only $185.00 (these pine pieces general sell for $385)  This three-drawer chest was left over from a large lot of dressers that we acquired last summer and has a few more dings than we normally allow for, but the drawers work fine and structurally it is a very sound piece. A great find for those who like a bit more character to their country furnishings.

Isn’t this a sweet little cottage piece?   This smaller sized chest was crafted  by a local woodworker several years ago. We found it, saw its cute lines, and cottage chic style, and knew that it would  look so charming finished in our Ocean. The size of this piece makes it a nice little accent piece; either in a smaller space, as a bedside table, or next to a sofa or chair. And for all of our customers who are on the lookout for smaller items, with storage, this could also work well in a first apartment, maybe with a microwave on top with utensil and linen storage below.

Dating from the turn of the century (1900) this great table is ready, once again, for family dinners. We have updated this American classic oak dining table with a finish in our Taupe, on the base,  and a refinished top.  Chunky turned and detailed legs set off the country chic square form of this table. Perfect for small meals or able to handle larger dinners this piece is very versatile, and comes with two 11″ leaves. (Leaves are also refinished golden oak)

Measurements:  closed the table measures 42″ square and can open to a maximum length of  64″  x 42″ wide.

A pair of bedside tables with clean classic styling and a bit of history too! These tables date from the 1930s and originally  graced the rooms of the  Statler Hotel in Boston. The simple and clean lines of this pair of tables are set off by our Cottage White  finish, making them perfect for a country cottage room. We also have a pair available in our Black.  Measures: top 14″ x 16″ x 30″ high.

We just came across several smaller benches dating from about the 1930s with a delicate “bamboo” look leg and an upholstered top. These benches were originally from the Statler Hotel in Boston. (Now the Boston Park Plaza) We have painted several in  our Coral, White, Black and Sea Glass and have upholstered the tops. We will leave a few unpainted; ready for color requests. They would be great at the end of a bed or as a smaller coffee/accent table. We will cover them in your fabric if desired.  Shown in our Cottage White, Black and Coral. Casual simplicity with a hint of fun at the feet. This bureau dates from 1900 and has a bit of a dual personality. We love its clean form, with the delicate  bowed front, simple round knobs and straight county-casual lines.  And then there are the feet, a playful little extra with their animal paw design. All has been renewed with a finish in our Taupe.
